OUR VISION

The Coastal Resource Hub is a dynamic tool intended to make stormwater pollution prevention outreach more efficient for organizations along the Wisconsin coast of Lake Michigan. This is done by providing education and outreach material in one, centralized location. Outreach materials are submitted to the Lake Michigan Stakeholders via the submission boxes at the bottom of each topic page. From there, submissions are edited and filtered by LMS steering committee members, interns and volunteers.

Content may be posted in its original form or combined with other submissions to create the best possible document. These materials will then be posted on the LMS Coastal Resource Hub to be used exactly as is, as a vehicle for inspiration, or with any adjustments an individual organization may want to make.

In addition to the regular availability of quality outreach material, LMS will promote certain information via our listserv. This specific content is intended to be published by participating organizations at the same time, so there is a strong, unified outreach message throughout the state. Because the idea of the Coastal Resource Hub is founded on open sharing and information, all content must be submitted with the understanding that the organization is seeding proprietary ownership. This will help facilitate universal access to the best material our Wisconsin community is creating. Join us!
